The Medway Towns is what is known as a Unitary Authority, found in the South East of England, the main towns are Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rainham.
Perhaps Medway’s most famous resident was an author you might have heard of – Charles Dickens. Dickens spent much of his childhood in Medway, and many of the landmarks and buildings provided the inspiration for his many characters and stories. His memory is honoured twice a year in Rochester, where you can expect to see hundreds of people in costume.
It’s not all about living in the past with Medway however, the Castle Concerts combines the old with the new, and it brings 4 days of music from some big name acts to the spectacular Rochester Castle Gardens.
We have a huge rage of tradesmen all across the Medway area, so if you’re looking for Glazing Services in Gillingham, CCTV Services in Dartford or even Skip Hire Services in Rochester – we have the solution for you.
Smoke detectors and fire alarms save lives. But they'll only identify a fire in its early stages, and give your family those precious minutes to escape, if they're in full working order.
The National Fire Protection Association recommends that homeowners install smoke alarms inside and outside every bedroom. Have you? Your fire alarms need replacing every ten years, or immediately if you hear random smoke alarm beeping caused by static electricity or water damage.
Don't risk it. Call your local fire and smoke alarm technicians to check your alarm systems are up to scratch, or install a new fire alarm system - of mains smoke alarms, wireless fire alarms, or ionisation smoke alarms.
