Southampton

Southampton is home to the longest stretch of medieval walls that are still standing in England, although there have been a few significant improvements to the city since then. Some of the most notable architecture includes the George Thomas building, the Central Police Station, the Mayflower stadium and of course St. Mary’s stadium.

There’s plenty of culture to be enjoyed too. The International PSP Southampton Boat Show brings maritime enthusiasts from all over the globe to Mayflower Park every year, and the maritime museum can satisfy any urges the rest of the year. There are some impressive alumni too, Craig David was brought up in Holyrood, Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills too hails from Southampton.
