Maidstone

Located in the county of Kent, Maidstone is 32 miles away from South-East London.

The River Medway runs straight through the centre of the town, linking it to neighbouring town Rochester. Historically, the river was a large source and route of much of town’s trade, naming it as the centre of agriculture. Due to its fruit-growing and beautiful hop gardens, Maidstone is known as the ‘The Garden of England’ and has previously helped Kent be ranked fifth most beautiful counties by the UKTV Style Gardens.

The town is ranked in the top five places to shop in the South East of England and with its more than one million square foot of retail floor is one of the top 50 in the UK!
